Car service after the wedding?

Car service after the wedding?

Has anyone used/booked car service to go home after the wedding?

We're getting married in LI but live in the city, and we recently realized that many of the guests will be bringing the gifts to the wedding... so taking the LIRR with all the stuff to carry is out of the question.
We already asked our limo company but they don't have regular minivans which we need.

If anyone could recommend a good car service, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

our limo company gave us free transportation home that night....if you have a limo company you are using, ask them!

do you really think people will be bringing a lot of wrapped gifts as opposed to cards w/checks?

if so, maybe you can have someone who lives on LI hold everything for you for a little while until you can get there to pick everything up? just a cost saving suggestion.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Unfortunately using our limo company is not an option, since they only have stretch limos and Rolls-Royces. Since we live in Manhattan, they can't just drop us off either.

We're pretty sure that people will bring presents to the wedding... There are items on the registry that were bought a long time ago but were never shipped to our home.
We thought about having his parents hold the presents, but they live pretty far out on LI. We always take the LIRR to visit them because we don't own a car, so getting the presents back home would be a problem.
