Trying on dresses for first time

Tomorrow, I'm going to try on gowns for the first time. I have to say, I'm kind of nervous. Worried that I'll hate the way I look in all of them. I.e. I'll look too fat or too short, etc. Did anyone else experience this?

YES!!!! The advice I now give EVERYONE is TRY ON EVERYTHING!!!! Even the styles that you think to yourself ' never in a million years would I wear that' b/c you never know what is going to look amazing once it is on you!!!!

( I LOVE my dress but when I first found it I was forced into trying it on b/c I said ' not in a million years...)

So have an open mind!
