Did anyone ever go to Sandals Antigua???

I was just curious to know of anyone ever went to Antigua? If it is nice or not??

We vacationed in Antigua in November. I LOVED it there. It is a very casual place, no need for any dressy clothes. It's just beautiful, relaxing and very safe there!! I would go back in a second. (BTW--we did not stay at Sandals--we were at a hotel called Siboney Beach, which I highly recommend!!!)

We stayed there in August of 2003. My FI took me there for my brithday. The resort is adults only and I'm not even kidding my FI (boyfriend at the time) and I were the only couple not on a honeymooon, it was ALL honeymooners. The resort is very nice, the grounds are beautiful and the standard rooms (what we stayed in) were decent. They were automatically upgrading people that were on their honeymoon to nicer rooms. The beach is really nice the only part about the beach I did not like is that vendors walk around and harrass you but if you tell them 'no, I'm not interested' they walk away. The pools are all 4 feet deep and are well kept. The main pool has a swim up bar which is the most happening spot on the resort and is where you will meet people. We met eight different couples that were all on their honeymoon and met up with them all every night for drinks. The couples were even nice enough to have dinner with my FI and I for my birthday. We even talk to one of the couples till this day.

I would definitely go back in a heart beat. If I was never there for a vacation that is definitely a resort I would have considered for a honeymoon.
