Question about DIY monogram aisle runner. Please help
Okay, so I decided that I am going to handpaint the monogram myself. I read a couple of posts about creating a stencil by doing it in MS word and then taking it to Kinkos to get enlarged. These are my questions about the stencilling:1. What font size are you using in MS Word and how large do you get it enlarged to when you go to Kinkos?
2. Do you do each letter separately, or is it okay to do a phrase? Ex. If I wanted to write 'Yes, We Do!' (that's not really what I want to write). Should I just write YES all together and get that enlarged or should I do a seperate stencil for each letter?

I have another idea. If you have access to a projector, you can create a monogram and project it onto the wall/floor and then trace it.

I heard about using the projector, but I am more intimated by that. I'm scared of my hands shaking....

I have another idea too. We were going to try iron on paper and print out out monogram on it and iron it to the runner. We were going to use a fabric runner. I saw some on e-bay.

Now that is definitely a good idea!
