DIYErs I need your help: How to make a personalized aisle runner?

Okay, so I need to get a non-slip aisle runner for my church. The only companies I can find that have non-slip backing on their runners are originalrunners.com and aisleswithstyle.com. A couple of girls on Theknot made really nice personalized runners, and I was wondering if there is anyway that I can make a runner with non-slip backing on it? Does anyone have any ideas?

Is it possible for me to buy fabric but then put some type of non-slip backing under it? This is a picture of their non-slip backing.

Okay I can't get the pic to show. :(
