what was it about? interventions for what?

one girl was cutting herself, so it turns out she had been molested since 7 by 3 different men and her grandmother. Her family was really christian, so they prayed that she will be okay. Obviously, she needed therapy

The other was a crackhead who steals from her dying father's stash.

Both are now okay for months, no drugs and no cutting. The intervention guy said that you have to get tough. If you give them money for rent, you are really giving them money for more drugs. And the crackhead's parents were just glad she was home and not on the streets, but the guy said that is very wrong to, then you are allowing this to go on in your home.

The shows will be on A&E, called Interventions

I love this show.

I turn it on right after Desperate Housewives.

I suggest everyone watch it once, it's heartbreaking, but a lot of people have a lot of hope.
