Calling all Chateau La Mer Brides

I have two questions:

1. How many people can those tables fit? I think up to 10, right? I have 12 in my wedding party!!! 6 girls, 6 guys. They can't really be split because... 3 of my girls are from college and would want to be together. 3 of my other girls are friends from high school. On the boys side - 3 are family members and the other three are good friends! We're also sitting them with their dates What should I do?

2. Does CLM provide place cards and direction cards?

I believe the tables fit 10 but, if need be they can fit 12. As for place cards and direction cards that is a good question. I would like to know my self

THanks!! Do you really think they can fit twelve? That would be great! Do you think that it will be VERY tight?

Yes. They provide you with a book(s) of direction cards. I got them when I was there in March. I am receiving the place cards in two weeks when we go there to do our final menu. Lou said he would discuss table set ups with me then. It depends on your numbers. You need to give them your max count and they work the tables from there. Ours is 235 so that is what I'll have info for. THey do a rough lay out and then get rid of tables as need be. I'll have more to report back after May 15.

We have 18 in our bridal party. We'll probably need 3 tables, because with our BM's and GM's plus their guests we have 30 people!

I believe CLM does provide place cards, and they definitely provide direction cards.

Cool, good to know about direction cards and place cards, but it doesn't seem that I'll be able to get 12 on one table. I'm goign to call and ask if they have exentesions. I'm sure I'm not the first one to ask! I'll keep you posted!

Just got off the phone with CLM. THe woman said that the tables are meant to seat between 10 & 12. Seems tight, but hey we'll see! Thanks ladies!!!

Yes - they give the direction cards and the place cards.

The tables sit between 10-12 and we had everywhere from 9 to 12 at the tables - although I think we only had about 2 tables with 12 because it was a little tight. We concentrated on having 10 at each table.

I saw the tables set-up with 12 ppl and thought it would be tight but can be done.

At our tasting I asked Nick and he told me that the general tables they have out are supposed to seat 12, but he doesn't put more than 10. He told me that if we had a few tables of 12 he had other tables that were made to fit 14, but he would put 12 there.

Thats okay- all I'll eat is the appetizer and salad-- I don't eat fish or beef and I don't like chicken cordon bleu! I'll pick at the veal if they have it

When I went for the tasting we had 6 and it was perfect. I think I wouldnt go more than 8. I hope theyll allow that. I dont know what Ill do with my bridal party because I want them to sit with their dates.

Will they mail the directional cards to us?
