Re-ask

I think i asked the question wrong in my previous thread:

When i said, 'would you do it again (the wedding process)?' , what i meant was would you want to relive your own wedding experience again from beginning to end.

I didn't mean to imply doing anything differnt...But just having the wedding planning mode back...

Definitely! Especially since there are parts of the evening that I don't remember- it was really a blur!

No, i wouldn't do all the planning again. The wedding day yes, but not the planning leading up to it.

Ditto

My wedding DAY was truly magical .. I mean from start to finish it was SO much fun that I can recall constantly looking at DH and saying 'I am going to cry when this day is over because I have never been happier' We both wanted to slow it down because it was the best party I'd been to in quite some time, and everyone was having a blast

I know its a cliche but my wedding day was the BEST day of my life thus far

But the planning leading up to it? HELL NO, I was miserable, stressed, sick all the time and worried. I never want to relive that

Re: Re-ask

no no no

Too many people made the whole experience a miserable hell for me.

I am glad that it happened because DH and I know who the people are who REALLY care about us...

Re: Re-ask

I don't think so. Too many opinions made it a little difficult to deal with.

ETA: refering to the planning process above.
The day I would def. relive!!! That day felt like I completed the biggest project of my life!!

I agree with Jax and Felicia. I would like to relieve the shower, bachelorette parties, wedding day, honeymoon... but NEVER the planning.

I'm afraid I agree with these girls, I would love to do my wedding day again, because it was truly the best party I'd ever been too, and it was for us. It was such an awesome day. But as for the planning - I wouldn't want to do that part again.

Re: Re-ask

I would definitely relive the wedding day but most of the planning - no, even though I enjoyed it.

If I could pick just one part of planning that I would relive - it would be gown shopping!

Re: Re-ask

For the most part I enjoyed the planning I could do without some of the drama that went on but I'd relive my wedding day a million times over!

Re: Re-ask

good question. there are days where i think, hey if we didn't have the wedding, we'd have more money going for our house. but we had an awesome day, many memories and i know in 10 years, i would have regretted not having one!

Re: Re-ask

I didn't mind the planning, but the anticipation of the day drove me crazy. Just waiting for it, and always wondering how it was going to be... Constantly thinking about it... It was such a relief when it was over, I couldn't believe it. I thought I would be sad afterward, but it was the best feeling. But the day was so wonderful that I would be tempted to do it again just for that... So I guess my answer is: I don't know!

Re: Re-ask

Yes, even though I was SOOO stressed, it was still more fun than being in school! I hated the feeling of feeling like I had to please everyone but I *think* and hope I handled that part well. DH and I have SO many funny and fun memories, I would do it all in a second just for that. We really did have such a fun engagement and really made the most of it. All of our friends and family were so happy and supportive of us and that made it so amazing too!
