yeah, I agree.

I know someone who wore them under a formal blue evening gown and I thought her 'ensemble' looked

I hate it - would not wear it at all- but as is the same with everything else there is always people who love it/hate it/ could care less

It's not on continuously, but most of the ads change/rotate every few seconds. It's a big, chunky, white shoe with a blue background.

I think they're a little outdated right now but I used to always want big chunky platforms for my wedding day...actually I wanted to duplicate the ones my mom wore on her wedding day in 1976 because they were just soooo cool. But, nothing as cool as hers ever turned up for me.

I don't think it would necessarily look BAD if someone wore those now either... they just aren't my style at the moment.

I wouldn't wear those now just for the heck of it...regardless of the color.
