Do you think I can get away with a white veil with this dress?

Here's my dress, I know it's hard to tell in the picture. It is diamond white, but all the diamond white veils I've seen haven't been white enough. I can't see the dress until May, but I want to order the veil now. I remember when I saw it in person it looked really white. Did anyone wear a diamond white dress with a white veil?

I did and it looked fine. I had a single layer cathedral veil. Obviously the more layers you have the more apparent the difference.

i had a diamond white dress and the white veil didn't match it well enugh, so i went with diamond white....
but every situation is different!
do what matches your dress best!

A diamond white veil is meant to go with a white SILK (or other natural fiber) dress. A silk dress will never be truly white, and diamond white veils are made to be a softer color.

Diamond white dresses, however, are generally the whitest white you can get and you should order a white veil--not a diamond white veil. HTH!

Thanks for all your input- I'm going to e-mail the veil company and see if I will have enough time to order the veil and wait until I can hold the swatch against the dress. I think the dress is really white, but it'll bother me if it's not right.
