Anyone else wearing very simple jewelry for their wedding day?
I am not a big jewelry girl... Some of the stuff you girls are wearing are beautiful but too much for me... I am just planning to wear my rings, hanging diamond earrings and diamond studs, a simple diamond pendant and a diamond cut tennis bracelet (looks like a real one but really has tiny little diamonds!)... Is this going to be too plain??

I am with you. many brides wear very big and fancy bridal jewelry. I just want to wear a simple necklace and hanging earings.

Sorry to intrude on your board, but I'm bored, so I was browsing, anyway, I wore hanging earrings and a braclet, only b/c my mom bought it for me to wear that day. Other than that, just my rings

Re: Anyone else wearing very simple jewelry for their wedding day?
Great question!I too am not going for the 'glitzy look'
I was thinking of wearing my diamond studs, maybe a borrowed necklace from my Mom, no bracelets or watch and then my e-ring
if you ladies have double (or more) piercings in your ears, are you wearing more than 1 pair of earrings? I can't decide....

I have two holes, I'm wearing studs in the top and small hanging earrings in the bottom. I forgot, I am wearing a watch too- but a nice one!

Im not wearing too much jewelry either. I don't want it to take away from the dress.I have multiple piercings in my ears, but I am only wearing one pair of earrings... I think that it is more of a classic look.

here's a good suggestion if you're only wearing one pair of earrings ... stop wearing earrings in your other piercings for a week or so before the wedding. this way the piercings won't look as obvious, but will definitely not close up

Just wearing simple pair of earrings and my
. My dress doesn't really allow for a necklace unless it's really simple, but with the tiara on my head it might be too much if I add a necklace too.

Re: Anyone else wearing very simple jewelry for their wedding day?
Yup Yup! The details on my dress are pearls (no sequins and very few beads) so I'm just doing my pearl necklace, bracelet and the best looking clip-on pearl earrings I could find (obviously my ears are not pierced.)

Re: Anyone else wearing very simple jewelry for their wedding day?
I'm not wearing as much as you!earrings -- either mom's diamond studs or swarovski studs w/ fake jacket I bought this week
no necklace
bracelet -- swarovski simple plain crystal bracelet
and, rings.
I considered different earrings, but I decided against them because I don't want my pictures to look dated 10 years from now. I keep thinking of all those 80s brides with the inverted V on their foreheads!

Re: Anyone else wearing very simple jewelry for their wedding day?
Me too. I am not wearing a necklace because of my halter dress, pretty simple hanging earrings, my gucci watch with the diamond bezel on and maybe but probably not a bracelet that matches the earrings.

Re: Anyone else wearing very simple jewelry for their wedding day?
See I am the total opposite I wear jewlry all the time I love big BLING BLING if you know what I mean. But for my wedding day I want to tone it down and go for the simple yet elegant look so I am doing very small chandelier earrings NO Necklace No Braclet and just my
Plus I have alot of bead work on the bodice of my dress I think a necklace will be too much.

Re: Anyone else wearing very simple jewelry for their wedding day?
i usually wear stud earrrings, with a silver bracelet and my ring...im very simple tooso for my wedding day, to put more on me would just make me undomfortable
i want some diamond studs, in maybe an unusual shape and tennis bracelet (i might have one with blue stones so i can have my blue requirement filled, and my ring
if i feel like my gown needs something on the neck, i want a very very thin and light necklace
