Silly Little Girl Wedding Dreams! (repost from BHB)

Anyone picture things a certain way when you were a kid that kind of make you laugh now...

I thought FH and I would go upstairs at the end of our reception, I would change it to a cute little suit jacket skirt combo, FH would be in a suit and we would run downstairs with everyone laughing and waving goodbye and then be whisked off the airport....

Did I watch too many movies as a child or what?

Anyone else have some little girl fantasies to share?

I love that! It's tres 'Steel Magnolias'!

When I was little I was terrified of having to do the bit with the garter. I didn't realize it is optional!! (as a little girl I used to run away from the bouquet toss for fear of the garter!)

Wasn't that a scene in Steel Magnolias? Are your colors 'blush and bashful'? Just kidding, that's adorable.

I'm a really mushy person. I think I over romanticized EVERYTHING as a kid. One thing's for damn sure, I had a better body in all my fantasies!

Re: Silly Little Girl Wedding Dreams! (repost from BHB)

I just remember pretending I was a bride in my slip in front of my mirror walkind down the aisle. I did that a lot (probably since I was a flowergirl in about 6 weddings before the age of 7). I also was psyched when my cousin gave me a fake e-ring (he was always the ring bearer with me).

lots of my other silly little girl dreams are actually what I am using
