OK, I'm just going to rattle some things off...

I dont have a bottle warmer, just put the bottle in a mug and run hot water

Need LOTS of onesies, burp cloths, bibs, and layette outfits

Don;t use a high chair until they're about 4 months, so you have time for that

A bouncy chair is good for the beginning (I have Fisher Price, that converts into a rocking chair when the child gets older)

Exersaucer is great, but again you dont need that for about 4 months

Diaper bag!

Lots of diapers and wipes (I LOVE Pampers Swaddlers, but everyone has their preference)

Bottles (if she's bottle feeding). I'd suggest at least 8-10 bottles. I use Dr. Browns and am happy with them

Infant car seat!!! Can't leave the hospital without it! I'd recommend the travel system, that goes directly onto the stroller. I'd also recommend getting an extra base for your brothers car.

An activity gym would be good. I started using that at about 6 weeks

Newborn pacifiers

I love the dishwasher basket that you put pacifiers, nipples and smaller bottle pieces in

Rectal thermometer, nasal aspirator, infant nail clippers (you can usually get a little kit with all of this stuff in it)

I have the Bundle Me and really like it

I am due in a few weeks and I got the following things already before my comes home

Graco Travelsystem Stroller (FM if you want details on which one and why I picked it)
**Comes with the infant child carseat and base**

An Extra Base if there are two cars involved so you dont have to take the base out that the seat goes into. (By Graco for the Snugride Infant Child Seat)

Fisher Price Aquarium Bouncer (Highly recommended by the ladies on this board)

TONS of Onesies and I was told in one of the classes I took as well as by an LIW mommie SIDE SNAP SHIRTS for the belly button area when they come home. THe hospital said its better that they wear this shirt instead of onesies for the first couple days while the belly button heals from the umbiloical cord. So I got 2 packages of those. Then I will use the onesies. By her variety sizes 0-3 & 3-6 mths as you dont know how her baby will grow.

Sleep Sac By Halo (instead of using blankets on the baby its a zip up sac that the baby wears to keep her warm and is to prevent SIDS)

I also got the take along swing by FIsher Price (aquarium one) we plan to leave it in the car so that we can take this with us to see the grandparents.

She needs a bassinet or a co-slepper if she plans to have the baby in her room for the first fwe months. I bought a co-sleeper as a recoomendtaion from an LIW BTDT mommie.

Also, to each there own I got a bottle warmer from First Years it holds 2 cold bottles with a ice pack and a warmer for one at a time jsut so you dont have to get up if your just that BEAT. IMO of course.

Burp cloths are a must to (i think someone mentioned those)

And the little things also were mentioned LITTLE but IMPORTANT baby nail clipper, a BATHTUB!! how could I forget! towels and washcloths!

Theromator, first aid kit!
