post office question: hand cancelling (05 repost)
anyone know where i can hand cancel invites at no charge in nassau? thanks!

I did mine at the Massapequa Post Office. They hand cancelled my scroll invites (they were in mailing tubes) for no extra charge. Good luck!
I also had my STD's hand cancelled at the Mineola Post Office for no extra charge.

I did mine in Baldwin and in Seaford - no problems at all. Very nice in Baldwin!

hand cancelling means the postage is cancelled by the person (not put through the machine)if you request it it'll help avoid run marks and ruined invites arriving to your guests

I didnt hand cancel and had asked my family and friends the condition of the invite and they saved some for me to see it came out perfect. I just dropped them off at the post office with just a stamp on it and guest received literally the next day.Welcome New Vendors
