Who's gonna have the 'family car'? you or DH?

I know a lot of people have one small car, for going to work, the train, and one sort of family car.

I know I'll probably get stuck with the 'family' car when we get married, and FH might take my bug, which will be old by then...But I don't want that. I want the zippy little car...let him drive the old man car! LOL But its's probably better for me to have the family car since I'll be the one driving the kids around and getting groceries most of the time.

DH tells me that I will have a mom-mobile. He threatened me with a minivan and I told him if I have to drive the family car, make it a Volvo station wagon

DH wants to lease another new car in a year or so - which menas I'd get the SUV he's driving now as my station/errands car. We've only had the Santa Fe for about a year now, and already he wants something bigger! I think he's jealous of my best firend's husband though - he just got a diesel truck a few months ago and suddenly our car is too small for him now..... Men and their big car complexes - I swear!

LOL... not all men are like that. I drive one of the smallest cars out there now.



Just bought it last month. An Audi TT Quattro Convertible.

Two seater. Who needs to haul family around when FW has a new Jeep. She will ride high... and i'll ride low.

We each own our own cars outright. Though FH said we will get a new insurance policy and for some reason I got all mushy inside. Just another thing that reminds us that we will be family. Corny huh.

I will probably have the 'Family Car'.
I dont know why, but Ive always wanted a Mazda Tribute (Red). I love those SUVs

I expect I'll have the 'family car' someday ... though currently DH drives teh 'Family car' (for mileage purposes) and I drive the cool Jeep

Funny how that works out ......

I do NOT want to EVER own a Minivan though
