Re: Anyone have a good dessert recipe for Easter?

when i was a kid, my grandmother used to make a cake in the shape of a lamb. I found the mold and tried it a few years ago, and it came out really yummy. You bake it flat on a cookie sheet, serve it upright. I used some plastic grass and chocolate eggs around it the platter, and it looked really nice. Just used yellow cake mix, but i used vanilla icing, and you can put coconut on top if you like. She used raisins for the eyes and 1/2 cherry for the mouth.

on Food Network yesterday - Semi-Homemade Lady had a bunny cake that was really cute!
my mom used to make little cupcakes that looked like bird's nests with jelly beans on them....
