Re: Adventura Spa Palace
We felt as though the food was fine - not a 5 star restaurant or anything, but it was good. Our favorites were the Hacienda restaurant and the buffet one (can't remember name). They also have very good snack food at the pool side bars - excellent guacamole and hamburgers.I would put the food quality around the same as 'Friday's'
Hope this helps - you can FM me if you want more info.

Re: Adventura Spa Palace
We absolutely loved it there! We booked our vacation to stay at the Cancun Palace and had only intended on taking a day trip to see Carmen del Playa and the Aventura Spa Palace (since you can use all the Palace resorts) We loved it so much we switched our stay there.Since we were only there 3 nights, we did not get a chance to try all of their restaurants. I did hear when we returned that some people didn't like the food. I honestly don't know what they're talking about.
No offense, I wouldn't rate it with a 'Friday's'. The pool food was so incredible, as we were checking out, I made a run to the pool for a steak sandwhich to go. My DH thought I was crazy... until he ate most of it in the cab to the airport!
We ate at the really nice restaurant and that food was to die for... and the Chinese restaurant. The other night, we had room service- incredible. I've eaten in anywhere from a diner to a 5 star restaurant.. and I liked it. You can always take a trip to the Moon Palace as well, they've got incredible restaurants there too.

Re: Adventura Spa Palace
Ummm... for the most part, I guess they're the same. The Aventura Spa Palace definitely had the better breakfast/lunch buffet than the rest.We don't mind Friday's either... but I wanted at least one nice/delicious restaurant (this was our one yr. anniversary trip)
The other Palace Resorts have different restaurants. The Cancun Palace only had 2 restaurants for dinner.. one was nice, and the other one- crappy- IMO. We hated that one, food wasn't good at all and not much of a selection. The ASP- oh man... mouth watering for that food right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Chinese rest. was delicous.. meat melted in my mouth!

Re: Adventura Spa Palace
now this is just my opinion don't want to offend anyone. i hated the asp, we left the resort to eat everynight. if you love to take long walks down the beach then this is'nt the place for you. i got severe sun poisoningon my lips that i couldn't eat and my mother in law wound up in the hospital when we came home from a parasite she got there. i have been to other resorts in the cancun area that were much better. i hear the riu palace is out of this world.hope this helps.Welcome New Vendors
