Speaking of Migraines, Just Have to Share Good News...

It's officially been ONE YEAR since I've had a migraine!!!!

Hope I'm not jinxing myself now

, I'm just SO happy.
It's a good day.

That's great! DH gets them sometimes and they're debilitating, so I know how happy you must be that yours are staying away!

Caffeine they say DOES help.

I have to chalk mine up to good ol' prescription drugs.

Same here re: caffeine. It actually makes mine worse most times......

But congrats, Andrea! As a fellow migraine sufferer, I'm sure that being 'migraine-free' for a year feels fantastic!

I take Topamax. It's actually an epilepsy med that's been found to help migraines (I don't have epilepsy).
I know some people have had not-so-good experiences w/ it, but I've had nothing but a positive outcome w/ no side effects. (I'm on a super low dosage).

I hear Furicet is great as well.

that's great! I get them, not too often though, so imitrex has worked for me. My mom has been getting them for years and they never seem to get better
