I think the weather is worse than they thought...it's really terrible outside. The wind and cold temperatures makes the driving treacherous although they claim only a small amount of snow! I hate working in NYC and having to commute home to LI...somehow I know the LIRR will be screwed up!!

they havent told us to leave yet,,but my co-worker went out to lunch 2 hours ago and still hasnt returned,,,and the manager hasnt even noticed yet...

maybe i should leave,,,since no one will notice

I checked the LIRR/MNR/MTA site--it is back up----no problems reported yet, but they usually have to be major to be reported.

So Fh just called me from work and said their whole customer service dept just picked up and left because their owner already told them no one was allowed to leave early.

yeah,,,I saw that,,,and I am sorry that they did that to you,,,,BUT I wouldnt mind my company cutting my hours...especially if it was the summer time....
