Nassau CC dance class???

Has anyone taken or plan on taking the dance class given at nassau Community College? If you have taken it, how was it? FH and I are thinking about it because traditional lessons are way to expensive.

We took dance lessons there and I think they were $85 pp - definitely a WASTE of $ and time! You learn certain dances you would never use on your wedding day (I'm assuming you want a first dance dance?), and on top of that the woman who teaches wasn't very nice or helpful. We were frustrated and stopped going. We decided to then take them at Metropolitan Dance Studio: http://www.metropolitandance.net/. I can't remember off the top of my head how much lessons cost, but we took three within the three weeks leading up to the wedding. We also had the basic steps down from NCC and we got one free one (there is a coupon in their office for one free lesson). FM me if you have any other questions. Good luck!
