Question about the Ultrascreen test
Do they take the blood from your arm or your finger? Someone told me they took it from her finger. That seems like it really hurts. My fingers are to tiny for that....can I make them just take it from my arm. Also, when they do the sonogram to measure the fluid behind the head.....do they tell you anything right then and there or do you have to wait for the blood results?

Re: Question about the Ultrascreen test
they take it from your finger it is a finger prick and they dont usually tell you anything there they wait until they have the results from the blood work and use that in connection with the sono. ( I asked my sono tech what she thought and she told me that from her measurements it looked fine but we needed to wait until the blood work came back)

Re: Question about the Ultrascreen test
My doctor's office took a small vial of blood from my arm. They didn't tell me anything that day - I was supposed to come in about a week later to discuss the results with the doctor, but we couldn't get there so they told us over the phone.

Re: Question about the Ultrascreen test
The doctor pricked my finger and then squeezed the heck out of it to get the 5 droplets and she said I was a 'good bleeder'. I can only imagine what they'd put a 'bad bleeder' through
. Really, it's not bad at all. My finger just felt a little strange afterwards from all the pressure put on it. Welcome New Vendors
