Any *older* brides on here TTC?

I don't have any children and will be marrying for the first time. FH and I really want to try for a baby nonetheless. Anyone here thought it wouldn't happen and then succeeded?

*raising hand* I am 33, will be 34 in June - not sure what you mean by 'older' but I think as long as your getting AF there shouldn't be a problem. Maybe a higher risk factor which your DR. will talk about and keep an eye on when you do concieve.

I'm 31 and DH is 37...is that considered 'older'? I guess it depends on who's asking! ha ha

I'll be 30 in June. Lately that feels older Mostly because I keep reading all these things about how your fertility drops the INSTANT you turn 30.

But based on the brides here who are over 30 and pregnant (yea!!) and all of the hollywood mommies who are in their 30s and 40s getting pregnant, I've decided to ignore all the articles, stay positive and BD our little hearts out!!

I take the 'If it's meant to be it will happen no matter how long you have to try or how old you are!' route.

I am 34 will be 35 in May. I thought it may be a little more difficult but it only took us a couple months.

I am 30 will be 31 in July. We have been trying since December and nothing yet.

I am 33, Dh is 34 we have been officially trying for 2 months... timing ovulation, etc.

I am not in this category however, I wanted to just share because my cousin was 41 when she had her first child.

She never thought she wanted kids, now she cant imagine her life without her daughter! She did have one miscarriage first but I think it had more to do with life stresses than age!

I am 41 (really old compared to everyone else). My DH is 35. We got married when I was 11 days shy of 40 and it took 7 months to get pregnant. No extra help was needed .

I'm 32 soon to be 33 and my DH is 33 soon to be 34...we had no trouble getting PG. 2 times unprotected and BAM!

I've never posted on here because we aren't going to TTC until the fall- at that time I'll be 31 and DH will be 27. Baby dust to everyone!
