before anyone attacks me about his head...that's his cup to keep his ears up after he was cropped...
the breeder would not sell him without it being done.
they are very protective about the integrity of the breed...

he's rust and red...basically tan and brown

My only concern is he was barking at my niece..she's only 4...
Maybe he was never brought up around small kids??? We defineitly want kids in the future should I just keep exposing him to kids???

Jess Red Dobies are BEAUTIFUL but both they and blue are very protective from what I know. Mine was a black. Make sure Neo goes to training and that he is socialized and he will be fine.

Bandit was around kids from the moment we got her and she was INCREDIBLE around all children. She was great with everyone, well except the one person that tried to break into our house but other than that she was incredible. She was VERY socialized from the get go!!!

Awww....he's so cute! And I've never seen the tin hat thing for holding the ears up. Bama has cropped ears but the breeder just taped them up right away (we didn't get him until a few days after his ears were done, so maybe he DID have the funky hat!)

If you need any advice on posting the ears, just let me know!

Jamie I'm glad to hear that...I think he's just nervous because the whole house is still new...
I'm going to keep bringing kids around and it will help being around other dogs too...(my mom has a puppy...)
I'm in love with this little guy already...my Dh is on the easy chair and the puppy is right next to him on his dog bed..

the crate seems so cruel but i know it's the best thing. The only reason he is even out of the kitchen is b/c he went both outside about 20 minutes ago...

Our breeder is going to do our postings once a week...our first appointment is Thursday night. Then he'll have the individual tapings too.

WOW! Look at those paws, he's going to be huge!!! I've grown up with dobermans all my life. They are very protective and very smart. Neo is soo cute! Congrats!

Wow! Lucky you! That'll make it much easier on you - posting the ears can be a pain at first (we got used to it eventually).

what an adorable pup!! His coloring is absoultely beautiful, the markings are very similiar to my Rottie too! Congrats on Neo - he looks like such a sweetheart!
