Wanna know what I did when my ex husband cheated on me!!

Well my son was hmmm 6 months old... it was my 25th birthday... and he admitted that he was sleeping with one of his employees... I was home visiting NY for Christmas and came back to a DIRTY house... All glasses around my jacuzzi tub which I thought was odd... Cleaned up all THEIR mess.. before knowing it.....

I just knew something was up... I said if I find something out without you telling me I will leave, but if you fess up Ill stay and we can go to counseling (b/c I HAD to know the truth) Well he fessed up and when he went to work.. I caught the first flight out to NY. I left my CAR! (He sold it and I never got a $$), my furniture, jewlery and clothes, videos and pictures from when i was little, instruments, baby furniture etc...
I came here with nothing... and never got anything back

Once your cheated on, how could you ever trust again... WHen they want to go out with their friends... how do you sit their and wonder all night with your stomache in nots!!

No way! I gave up SO much for that man... after all that - forget it. My son & I deserve better. I know have full custody and he has no visitation... I am FINALLY getting child support... Trust me when I tell you there were many more things than that... but FINALLY my son & I are moving on with our lives! I have a great FH, son & job!!!!

Tuesday I got a raise, Im going to Florida this month and its going to be my birthday again. I am so thankful that he confessed. I cant imagine.. staying and always wondering... just knowing... something wasnt right...

Thanks for reading my rant. :) BTW - because of him I also had to declare bankruptcy and I am still paying his bills for things he has and wont give back etc!!

Amy, you are so brave. it ***** that you had to go through that, but I'm so glad that you're blessed now with a great FH and a better and happier life for you and your son. It's probably better that you found out when your son was so small, that way he wasn't old enouhg to really remember it and go through the loss, now he'll have your wonderful FH as his daddy!

Good for you to have the courage to leave! How soon after did you meet your FH? I agree, I could never trust someone again who did that, regardless of how much I loved him. And how could someone who loves you so much do something like that?! Anyway, so glad you met your FH!

You're a brave girl. Not many women would do that at all. I'm glad you left for the better...and from the looks of that picture next to your name...it looks like you're doing real good!!!

Honestly, I legally didnt ask.. I just did take my son.. Maybe different in Idaho?? He never disputed it...
He lost visitation because he never showed up for court, never wrote in and never called.. He was also abusive towards me and I had proof..

I left for the last time in 4/02 and met Anthony my FH 2/04 so almost 2 years later :)
