Centerpiece ideas for Engagement Party?
I am having an engagement party during the day on a Saturday this May. I wanted to see if anyone had ideas for Centerpieces? I don't want to spend a ton of money, but I need something to put on the tables, something different from the norm - any ideas?

My centerpieces are really really simple.AC moore has the glass jar candles for $3.33 each. We purchased them in white (gardenia) and what we did was print out our STD magnet sample and shrink it down to a smaller size. We pasted 2 pics on both sides of the candle so people know the date. We are putting our STD magnets on the table as well.

My party is late April. My colors are pink and black and I am doing a perfect blend coffee paks for my favors. I might have pink and white roses on the table in a little bowl with a black ribbon tied around it. Depending on what color u want to go with u will be able to figure out your CP's. One small votive in the middle of the table is nice as well with rose petals around it.

I am using hat boxes as the centerpieces for my sister's shower. I was able to find them with different 'themes'. Maybe you could do plainer ones. Just a thought.

I love the cookie bouquet idea. So original!I bought $5 blue glass vases and then filled them with flowers I ordered on an online wholesale website. It was inexpensive and the flowers looked great. Here are some pictures:

I had decorative glass bowls with white rose floating candles and red and white rose petals around the bowl on the table. I've also seen the same with real rose buds floating instead of candles. They were very inexpensive.

I didn't know you were supposed to have centerpieces/favors for an engagement party. Actually I am really getting confused. I feel like I am starting to wonder what the difference between the e-party and the wedding is.

Re: Centerpiece ideas for Engagement Party?
I don't think you have to have centerpieces at the e-party. It is just a little something extra and a nice touch. An e-party is whatever you want it to be. For me it was both our families meeting and having a good time eating great food. You can do whatever you want.
