ceremony music

Ok, I ahve 7 months to go and I am starting to think about ceremony music. I have got prices from a bunch of ouside companies but should I call my own church and see about what they have to offer? Is it too early? I assume they are less expensive. Also, Does anyone know anyone in the babylon area, maybe a singer as well. Thanks

Well that's just it....when she had hers she didn't mention anything about bringing my FI. Everything with her was last minute that I didn't even get the invite. So I never asked her if my FI was invited, I just assumed he wasn't. I wasn't offended. But he's going to be mad about the situation. We haven't told him yet. We just told him we should invite the spouses.

Michelle B - That's the kit I have. It's great. Whatever color you decide to use on your envelopes, buy extra cartridges. You should be able to make it through 75 invites on about 1 1/2 cartridges.

I would call the church and see what they have to offer. If your church has a good music program you can probably get great singers and even string musicians. My church gave me the name of the music coordinator when we booked our date. We have to call her to arrange the music.

Try doing the iron board...I call it the Iron Maiden. The iron board should have the plastic around it. At the rounded end make a little hole to stick the mop throught it. On the mop attach crafty pipe cleaners (I don't know what they call them) to the fuzzy part of the mop to make eyes and lips. Attach an apron around the neck part and tie in the back. Through the plastic (where the chest would be) slide a towel through the back. This way it would look like arms. I know she pinned on the plastic gloves to the (arms)towel. She put a duster in the apron. On the mop head she pinned a dish towel to make it look like a doo rag on the head. Hope this helps. have fun with it.

Mine's not until 7/6/01 so I have some time. I just finised pre-cana and I got some names of good singers from the couple leading our group, so that when I speak to the music coordinator I can request them. I also have been paying very close attention to the music at the regular weekly mass.

When's your date?
