ADVICE ABOUT ORDERING DRESSES ONLINE
I know it is oh so enticing when you see your gown or BM dresses on some discount site for so much less than you have been quoted....BUT.....
Before you order, know this. When you order online you arepaying less for the product, but when you receive your order, who will be doing alterations for you or your girls? Most places charge you more to alter a dress you haven't bought in their store.
Unless you know a seamstress that won't screw you with the alteration charges, DON'T order online.
Some stores will meet other prices if you can print out the online prices..
ALSO...a good thing to do would be to call your seamstress or wherever you were planning on getting the dress altered to find out how much they will charge for alterations if you order through them and then what if you order from someplace else and bring the dress to them.
Just be careful....When something seems too good to be true....it usually is.
Good Luck Girls!

Re: ADVICE ABOUT ORDERING DRESSES ONLINE
I can understand your advice, but in my case most of my girls are out of state. Either way, they are all forced to get their alterations on their own. I figured the least I can do is try to find the dress at a reasonable price.

Re: ADVICE ABOUT ORDERING DRESSES ONLINE
Alterations can be a problem even when you get them done through a salon. I constantly hear complaints from brides about their seamstress or the store where their dress is being altered. They don't sound too cheap either when you have 350 limit and most reach that no matter what.Netbride sent out a card with suggested alteration prices so you know what you should be charged for each item. I added a few dollars since I live in the LA area. My seamstress(found through a friend) is a seamstress at a bridal salon for 30 years and is doing this on the side. Her prices are incredible. She was a lot lower than I expected.
Just do your research on ALL your vendors and you should be fine.
