Random people asking how I like married life...

There is one place especially that I sometimes go to for work and all the women in there constantly ask how I like married life. I've been married for 14 months now- I hate answering that question!!

It seems silly but it really irritates me. Probably bc it's not just 1 or 2 women - it's about 7 or 8. And one of them is someone I've never met before but she looked at my hand and said, oh you're married?? UGH.

I don't feel like much has changed being married besides living together. I just hate answering that question bc I have nothing to say to them about it.

Just wanted to vent.

ya know, sometimes I get the urge to just say,

'Actually, married life is terrible. You know, I never thought about it until you just brought it up right now. Maybe I should do something about this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention'...just so I can see what the response to that would be!

I still get asked that and we're married 2.5 years!
I've begun saying 'Still married, so it must be going well.'

It is so annoying. And the next annoying question will be - When are you having babies?

i'm in the same boat here, ladies! this one guy especially asks everytime we talk he always starts off with 'so, how's married like?' and i reply by saying 'same old'. then he says 'that exciting, huh' in a condescending tone... sooooo annoying! ya can't win.

I usually try to be a smarta$$ with those questions like ' shh...nobody is suppose to know!' or 'it would be better is he stopped running around on me!'
