4- Not really...When I went to college, I imagined working for a Fortune 500 company...I work for a small business but would not trade my job in for the world! Surprisingly, I don't want to leave when I have kids

1) Communcations, minor is Business Admin

2) Yes, working in cable television

3) School bus driver, I was obsessed with the handle they used to open the door....or a lawyer.

Fashion Design/Graphic Design

2. Are you now 'practicing' in that field?
Yes

3. What did you want to be when you were a little kid?
Fashion Designer since 4th grade that is what i wanted to be.

4. Are you doing what you thought you'd be doing?
Yep, well i am designing,merchandising among other things but it all has to do with what i went to school for.

2. No
3. I wanted to be a Veterinarian
4. No way! I am in the Technology field...I sort of fell into this career path. It was never planned.

1. Psychology, Social Work (MSW)

2. Yes, I am a psychiatric social worker in an outpatient mental health clinic. I love seeing clients all day and being a therapist

3. Either a cashier ( I was and still am infatuated with touching the keys on the register!) or a therapist.

4. I am! I always wanted to be a therapist and hope one day to have my own practice.

2. Somewhat - I work in a business environment and I manage

3. I wanted to help people - or be an olympic athlete

4. If I understood that my job was an option, I would have wanted to do it - but it wasn't until I got older that I realized the careers that would allow you to help people while still making money in the non-profit sector.

2. Not yet, I'm working on recovering from injuries and then i have 1-2 semesters left

4. Well, in that I thought I'd be teaching by now, not out of school for a year, no. But I don't know exactly what I want to do. I really want to direct, but I have no idea how to get into it and I also want to teach.

No, but I am happy doing what I am doing.

4. Not exactly, I am an attorney, but I do not practice. Instead, I work for the Government.

1) Biology and Environmental Studies (Ecology Focus)

2)No - I wish I was, but it is hard to do field biology on Long Island (we don't have enough nature, plus the pay is horrible and LI is not cheap!)

3)I was always changing - mainly a veterinarian (until I realized I would cry my eyes out if any animal ever died)

4)Definitely not!

1. Veterinary Science

2. Yes, part-time I work as a licensed veterinary technician (full-time as an admin. assist.)

4. It's mostly very rewarding, except when I put animals to sleep. I am mostly hardened to it, but some of them get to me.

4. No, I am an Admin Assistant for an appraisal firm. I am actively looking for somethign in the media field! Cablevision laid me off two years ago, and i haven't found a full time production job since!

Not really

3. What did you want to be when you were a little kid? Be a singer, dancer or doctor.

4. Are you doing what you thought you'd be doing? Not at all. I thought I would be in marketing instead I wound up in events. It all worked out for the better i use some of my marketing experience from Undergrad. in the work i do now and for my business.

1) I'm still in college graduating this December. My major is Marketing.

2)I hope to be once I finish. At the moment I work as a teller in a bank.

3) Funny thing is that I always wanted to make commercials so I'm kinda sorta following my dream lol

4) I thought I'd already be finished with college but not yet lol

Social work - Undergrad
Social Welfare (same thing really) - Grad

Im still in grad and I hope I will be after i graduate

3. What did you want to be when you were a little kid?
I wanted to be (I dont know how I came up with this....) A ballerina gas station Attendant

I think i admired my father and he always pumped the gas and i likes ballet (even though I was awful at it)

4. Are you doing what you thought you'd be doing?
I think I am doing what I thought I would be doing when I was younger
