Re: Are you using a place card holder

i am...there's this place in mineola that has a ton...it's called you're invited to celebrate. it's really cool. It is a little silver heart with a slot for the card. the cool thing is that people will be able to use them for pictures and stuff. The woman suggest putting a picture of my fi and i on the place card table so people would realize what to use it for.

myweddingfavors.com has a sample of one!

Re: Are you using a place card holder

I wanted to, but then I wanted something different (something that no one has done), but I couldn't think of anything. So I ended up just doing the cards the Hall gives you.

Re: Are you using a place card holder

The ones I wanted were expensive & I already had a separate favor, so I just bought 12 & used them for table # holders. I used tent cards for palce cards.

Re: Are you using a place card holder

I am using this silver champagne bucket as my placecard holder. I will put 5 Jordan Almonds wrapped in tulle in the holder, as well as have some extras with candles in them so people know that is what they can use it for afterwards if they want.

(P.S. - I got them for .99cents each at Jack's in Manhattan).

If you are looking for something different, my friends did a seating chart that was cool. It was in a nice big picture frame on an eisel as soon as you walked in next to their guest book.

Here is the link to different seating charts:

Re: Are you using a place card holder

I wanted to do something, but didn't need the added expense, so we decided to make ours. We're doing wine cork holders (hot glueing 2 corks parallel to each other, then another one perpendicular at the bottom, this way they stand up and the cards can slide into the 'crack' between the perpendicular and the parallel corks). Then, I'm using ribbon in our colors to line the short edges of the cards, and then glueing a rosette in the middle between the names and table #. They look great in my mind, now I just have to try them out! :o)
