LIW Sleuths-- Please help- flower arrangement ideas needed!
Ok-- so, I decided to make my own CPs for the RD. I found these cheap arse vases from Ikea, which I purchased this weekend- $1.49 a piece thank you! So when I went to show to my mom, the mouth of the vase is rather wide and I will need a lot of flowers to fill it in order for it to look full- I was just going to buy a bunch of flowers from the supermarket or flower shop that day- cut and put in vase- voila, instant CP. Vase pictured below.
So, now- we have the idea to get marbles or river rocks (shown below as well) in order to make the flowers stay straight, so we don't need as much.
So what I need your help with is to find inspiration arrangements for me-- I want simple and cheap-- this is just to add a little something extra to the tables.
Thanks girls!!

Re: LIW Sleuths-- Please help- flower arrangement ideas needed!
could you add fruit to the center and then smaller flowers for the top.
So it would be vase with a base of the colored glass at the bottom (or if you can find those irridescent glass ones) some apples, oranges, limes, lemons, cherries, etc. (depending on your color scheme) and then a few floating flowers at the top?

That's exactly what I was going to post! Have you seen the WOTY arrangements with the fruit? It looks so beautiful and you won't need so many flowers on top. And you could do floating flower heads and floating candles on the same bowl...oh, so romantic!

I did- I was thinking about that-- right now I am just trying to find as many pics as I can, then try some stuff out.
Here is what I found so far- in addition to the WOTY pics..
Here is another idea I had after looking at the WOTY pics-- make like bouquets and put them in the vases-- it's sorta appropriate for an RD? I think they just used the vases to display them- but I thought it looked kinda cool- they can be with funky colors and stuff though.
