Has anyone ever thought of re-doing your photos?
I have to say I am kind of disappointed in my proofs. It's not really the photographer's fault, I kind of made poor choices on the day of my wedding. It was drizzling after our ceremony, but the photographer said she would still go to the park for pictures, just with us, not the whole bridal party. I said no...lets just get to La Grange, get the pictures done with and get the party started. (I wanted to go to my cocktail hour, but my sister stopped me from doing that)90% of the shots are in the lobby. All of us sort of shoved in front of the fire place (there was about 17 of us and the guests were arriving as we took pictures). It was so crowded, confusing and HOT. We stood under these hot spot lights forever. My hair was all sweaty and my blush disappeared....I look so pale.
I really don't like any shots of us together. I realize I can't do the family or bridal party shots again...but I would love to have a nice one of us.
Am I being totally ridiculous? Has anyone ever heard of this?

not at all. I remember a bride from theknot who did another photo shoot because it poured on her wedding day and she couldn't get many shots done. So, she actually did get everyone back together...I say go for it!

I kinda did.We were living in San Francisco at the time we got married but the big wedding was in NY.
We got dressed up in our wedding clothes and had pictures taken in SF to commerate our time there (and to get certain shots I didn't get at our wedding)

I think I will call the photographer and see how much it will cost. Thanks for making me feel like I'm not the only person who wants to do this, my friends think I am nuts.

My friend knew someone who took their's over. She got a new photographer and re-took her photos. She, her husband and bridal party got all dress and went back to the Hall (of course got permission from the Hall) and took photos.

YES! I kill to have our photos re-done all over again. I would love to re-wear my bridal gown, hair, make-up, shoes, cronoline, jewlery, veil, hair piece, my bouquets--the works all over again! In a heart beat!

Re: Has anyone ever thought of re-doing your photos?
I would like to. My photographer didn't take that many close ups. I think she took two. Also, in the two close ups, my arm and back are positioned weird. You would think she would tell me to stand straight up or something. All the other pictures came out well, but the two close ups. Our pohtogher did a pretty good job otherwise, but no candid pictures like I had asked her to do.If I could afford to retake some, I would. But the one bad thing is if I did, we took a lot pictures infront of a pointsetter tree and the Christmas tree. Those are the pictures I really liked but could not redo. Oh well, I can always have the developers zoom into the pictures when they are being developed to make them close ups (I did that with my thank you's, they look great!). But, if you have the money to retake some, I would. Also, that sounds like it would be so much fun!
