I was told the same but for some reason I remember them saying the tables can hold up to 16 but I don't think i would ever put that many.

Good luck!

Re: fox hollow brides question

My friend is going through this with them now. First they told her 16 and then after she did all the seating arragnement they told her no more than 14!! She was pulling her hair out having to do them over.

Also, they told her she can have round tables! It was too late when she found out but something that she didnt realize.

Re: fox hollow brides question

are you talking about the winter garden room?

i've only seen round tables set up in there. they told me 10-12 people, 12 tops.

if you are talking about the winter garden room, how do you feel about the shape and set up of the room? i'm a bit nervous that the tables will be too close to each other and that the dance-floor is on one side and tables in the back (b/c of traffic and b/c noone will be able to see the dance floor if sitting). don't get me wrong i LOVE the decore of the room but....

Re: fox hollow brides question

i would think about 12. In fact as I think about it, when my brother got married it was my immediate family bros/sisters and dates and we were 12-seating was fine not to roomy or crowded. does anyone have pictures of round tables in that room? I would love to see what it looks like. I am having small round tables in the cocktail hour but never thought about it for the reception.

Re: fox hollow brides question

The garden terrace is the big room right? I've only seen the round tables in the Winter Garden Pavillion. Our reception is going to be in the WGP. I'm a little concerned also about the set-up, but then I think of the times where I've been in a reception in a huge room and couldn't see the dance floor and there was traffic going to the bar and moving around. I'm just trying to keep my guests to around 120 so it won't be to smooshed in there!! Is anyone else having their reception in the WGP?

Re: fox hollow brides question

Our reception is in the Garden Terrace too, and I recall our BM saying that the table fits 10-12 people. A photographer who we priced actually recommended using the round tables (he had his reception there) he said that it gives the room a completely different look.

Re: fox hollow brides question

I JUST had my wedding in the Garden room and the tables hold up to 14 normal, 16 if you want people at the ends

IMO 12 looked the best though...
We has a mixture of differnt numbers at the tables...12 was the best fit...

And no they don't put the round tables in the Garden room
