i buy it at Ulta, but i'm sure other beautyy supply stores have it. the small bottle is $10 and the large is $20. its kind of expensive,imo, but it works better then anything else.

Uh, it works but I think any smoothing product offers the same. I use different ones so my hair dosent get used to one or buildup..kind of like shampoo.
I started using Physique and I think that works great too. Its not a faster process but will help straighten. Also you should use a smoothing serum after the hair is dry and set. It helps looking shiny and healthy and most important, keeping tose little flyaways down, plus any frizz

i like it cause i don't need a lot and a bottle will last me a long time. i don't use it every day, but when i do, i can definelty see a difference. a lot of straightening/smoothing products are the same, but i like the results i get from rusk.

I straightened my hair for years and I used MATRIX Sleek.Look it is a 3 step 'system'. You wash your hair with the shampoo & conditioner and then use the cream before you blowdry your hair. It was the best!
I used to get it at Ulta in the salon part and it comes in bright orange bottles.

ETA- Stylists never believed me that I straightened my hair everyday, becuase the Matrix stuff was so great. For 4 years I used it and my damage was so minimal.

I agree, Matrix has been one of the best ones. I think i trained my hair a bit. What works for me, honestly....my BABYBLISS Pro hot iron.
Awesome! I try not to wash hair everyday to eliminate damaging and the 2nd day my hair tends to look better.

I try not to use anything in my hair when I straighten it. If there are some fly-aways and it's humid, I'll use a very small amount of Kerastase Oleo-Relax Serum.

Other than that, I just make sure I use a good conditioner and the following for the blow out:

Phillips 5' Monster Vent Brush


smaller Ceramic brush (I use this after the large brush to help finish & smooth the section of hair)

I use Redken Glass after to smooth out the hair...not a bit of frizz ever...and its not heavy or oily..very light..I have been using it for over 10 years..LOVE the stuff!!

The new Paul Mitchell Skinny line works pretty good too..It helps with drying time as it closes the cuticles in your hair( hence skinny name)

I use a large flat paddle brush. I use thermasilk heat activated products. I love them. After it is dry I use frizz-ease serum.

I use potion 9 from paul mitchell..I put some in while it's wet and use a drop of it after it's dry for the frizzies..

I use the flat iron and frederick fekkai olive oil cream before using the iron.
