For place cards, I'm actually attempting these Martha Stewart menu stands that double as place cards. You could have the bottom layer (the menu stand) in black with the guest name with silver or metallic pink ink and the menu itself on pink paper with black ink.

thats my theme too...

the only other things that will be pink and black
is pink matches, pink cocktail napkins, with the black monograms, same goes for lil boxes that will hold lil chocolates in them

for flowers they'll be pink...not sure what exactly yet
cps will be a mix of pink and white...figure the white will break it nicely...

and my place card holders will be lil ceramic pink roses.

For favors, you could have black pinstripe boxes with pink ribbon (like the ones from Jean M) with pink and black M&Ms. You can get them from Candy Discounters

I am actually doing black and white (with accents of silver or burgenday) so sorta similar

Oh, me too. Well, I am tossing around either pink and black or blue and black.

I did make my own invites (pink and black) I will try and post a pic. Other's have posted pics, they are the same as the ones I have, nothing new.

A suggestion, if you are having the ends of bo-ks wrapped in ribbon, suggest black ribbon to tie the theme all together.

a friend of mine did a pink and blck themed wedding...the bm's bo-k's where pink and white roses, also with a few black roses with a pearl in the center....(black roses were sprayed black). it lookes amazing

I know this is a little different from what you may be thinking, but I designed seascape gel candles for a party with the pink and black scheme. The lady wanted black sand with pink gel. It actually looked really nice, but I don't know if you wanted a beach theme type wedding.

This pic is the candle but the one I made for the party had black sand with the pink gel...

My BM's are wearing rose quartz & black. I wish I had a picture of the back of the dress. The back of the dress has black buttons from the top to the bottom.
