Re: Has anyone been to Cancun Palace?
I have!! It was awesome! We had a room right by the pool -- all we had to do was hop over our balcony!I suggest you get out to the pool early if you want chairs -- seriously like 7 am!! Though I don't know how busy this time of year is.... I went around May.
Also, don't forget that you can eat at all the restaurants at one of their sister hotels - the Moon Palace also. They have like 6 restaurants and a night club. It's about a 15 min cab ride away but worth it for eating out one or two nights.

I was there with DH and his family a few years ago - it was wonderful! We ate at one restaurant in Moon Palace and one at Sun Palace as well.

Re: Has anyone been to Cancun Palace?
we went there few years ago, actually just recently I found a receipt from purchasing a sightseeing trip it is from 07 Aug 2001 (cant believe how the time flies
)... the hotel is great, it was a bit crowded when we were there and if you didnt get up early you couldnt find a lounge chair... but that didnt bother us since we spent a lot of time sightseeing... def. go and see Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum if you are into history
the staff was awesome, you dont need to tip them if paid for the all inclusive but they sure appreciate it if you do (the waiter followed us to the door just to open it for us, I guess not a lot of people tip) you will have a great time
