Holiday themed brides!

Alright girls, those after Christmas sales are calling your names. I was one of those out at 8am the morning after xmas hitting all the sales and I cannot even tell you what a bargain I got! So much so that I spent so little on my favors (100 favors and only spent $35) that I have to come up with another idea But 50% off everything is too good to miss!

What are you giving as favors? I bought mine (ornaments) last year right after christmas and got great deals.

Re: Holiday themed brides!

I am giving ornaments as well and just got 20 boxes of 6 at $1.50/box. I'm going to personalize them but that's a pretty good deal. Then I went and got some red votive candle holders for $.99 at Target but you have to go quickly because when I went back later on today it looked like they may be packing up.

LOL, you should've seen the women who rolled into Michaels. They looked exactly like me, hair pulled back, make-up off and luckily it was cold enough to put my coat on over my pajamas.

I got all my ornaments for centerpieces, and these cute gift box ornaments that we're using for place card holders at .50/9 at Ikea!

Re: Holiday themed brides!

I was at Macy's today and ended up buying my favors!

There the same ones that another bride on our board bought right before Christmas. They're Lenox ornaments (actually, the package lists them as charms - whatever, they look like ornaments to me). There are three kinds - an angel, a snowflake and a really fat snowman. Originally $10 each - reduced to $3.99. I got a Macy's charge card and got 15% off, plus I had a coupon and got another 15% off.

From $10 to $2!!!!!!!!!
