Yeah, and FI is tired of looking. I plan to at least look at one more place if he will go - Giorgios although it's pretty far our east from Brooklyn.

Nope, I have not had that 'the one' feeling at any of the halls. We like 6 of the ones we have seen and I could live with one of them....but I want to keep looking.

I would have to say that the trip out east is definitely worth it. I just got married at Giorgio's in October and I loved it! If I had a chance to do it all over again I would not change a thing especially the location. I had a lot of family travel from the Brooklyn and whitestone areas, they all told me that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. There is transportation provided to and from Giorgio's if your guests would like to say at one of the hotels. I believe that Giorgio's works with the Best western and the Hampton Inn. The atmopshere of the catering hall is nothing like I have ever seen before. If you are looking for something classic, romantic and elegant Giorgio's is the way to go. If you have any questions you can email me.www.giorgiosatfoxhill.com

I just have one suggestion.Unless you are on a strict budget, try not to go with the places that offer a complete 'package' they are usually wedding chop shops, and the quality of the video, photos, and flowers etc. are bad compared to outside vendors that you spend time choosing.
Try to go with a photographer that offers photography, a videographer that offers only video, and a DJ etc. that only does DJ-ing!
This mixing of professions takes away from the whole 'professional' word all together.
Just a thought.
