Question re: placecards and assigned seating

ok-- we are doing placecards and assigned seats and tables for our RD.. We should have about 43 people there-- 6 tables of 6 (one 7).

I am assigning seats for a variety of reasons that I will not go into.. but, here is my question..

With that few tables and people- and with about 30 to 45 mins of passed food and drinks (no one sitting yet) I think people will be able to find their table, right? I don;'t need to do like a seating chart or anything right?

Another option was for when people check in at the restaurant- they can tell them, welcome miss jones, you are at table 2 upstairs- or is that jusy unnecessary?

Re: Question re: placecards and assigned seating

Hey

If you are having placecards, I think people will DEF be able to find their seats in that timeframe!!

Re: Question re: placecards and assigned seating

Hi-- yeah- a placecard will be at each place setting..

Ok- just checking to make sure it would be ok.. I mean, I'll have the seating arrangements anyway- but I am sure it will not be a problem..

Re: Question re: placecards and assigned seating

It will be fine - esp since its not many tables....it's not like they will be wandering around a ballroom of 20 tables looking for their name.

Re: Question re: placecards and assigned seating

right- it is 6 tables..

and I figure once people glance at one name at a table-- i.e. Grandpa Irv-- they will figure they are or are not at that table and move on..
