Wedding Photo Album- Need advice

Hey Girls,
I need some advice. I would like to try and find a nice wedding photo album that I can add pics to on my own. I was laid off a few months ago and we are doing the wedding all on our own so I can't really afford the $500 professional album that my photographer is offering. Does anyone have any more economical ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Wedding Photo Album- Need advice

believe it or not, I was in Target not too long ago and they have nice albums.
My FH and I are doing the same thing! We know someone who is solely shooting our proof (a friend of FH, she's a photojournalist) and we're going to make our own prints and album, and thank you's. Much much cheaper than paying to have something done that you can send away yourself, (that's all they do anyway) and get done.

I'm not sure...Homegoods is kind of like a Marshall's or a TJ Maxx... except it only contains the 'homegoods' section... there is one on 347 in Pt. Jeff Station

I found the website: www.homegoods.com...I haven't spent time on it so Im not sure how great it is... but there is a store locator to see if there is one close to you.

Re: Wedding Photo Album- Need advice

angel42,
what is your album budget? because you can get a professional album on albumhouse.com for much less than a professional photographer would charge you. Albumhouse sells Art Leather brand albums--a brand of albums that many professional photographers use. first you have to pick out the type of album that you want, then purchase the insets, and photo mats according to the number of pictures that you want in your album. I went ahead and calculated the price for you based on a hypothetical 60 image album.

12x 13 Large Futura Onyx Cover: (holds 60 5X7 pics)
15 inserts
30 Mats
Total: 265

10X11.5 Medium Standard Futura Cover: (holds 60 5x7 Pics)
15 Inserts
30 Mats
Total: 200

Hope this helps!!!
