Does anyone know when the Yankee tickets will be on sale

I have to buy 4 tickets for the secretaries Christmas gifts and they still are not on sale!

But according to Ticketmaster, they don't start selling Yankee tix via the net until Sat, 01/08/05

Seriously Felicia NOoooooooooooooooooo I always used to by Frankie Yankee tickets as one of his Christmas gifts, that's why I thought it would work for the secretaries. See I try to do something freaking nice and now what

I think they used to sell them in December in the past few years, but now they are doing in in January?

You can buy bomber bucks in any amount and they can but tickets with them and only tickets with them when they offically go on sale.
The only catch is that they have to go to the yankees box office to purchase them with the bomber bucks.bomber bucks

I know exactly what you mean, Jamie -

In the past, I had also gotten tickets for people as gifts for the holidays - they used to put them on sale mid December. I was as surprised as you were to see this stupid 'Bomber Bucks' thing -- and that Ticketmaster wasn't selling them until January 2005

They are definitely doing ticket sales very differently (and very STUPIDLY, I might add )

IMO, I think a lot of it has to do with the whole steroid thing right now and they think ticket sales will not be a great as they normally are because of it. Plus, the meetings in California have yet to bring the big players ( for the yankees at least) to the team ( i.e. Johnson, Beltran). With big names not yet signed that could mean below than normal ticket sales.

and after the way the post season went down this year, there are a lot of very disgusted Yankee fans out there

Yet I bet getting GOOD seats are still hard to come by - unfortunately, the corporate/season ticket holders hold onto their seats no matter what, and that leaves the ordinary loyal fan without a chance at some of the better seats for the big games

I would so love to do this but the other part of the trip was to book them a town car to take them to and from the game also, so how can I do this and with out the dates of the games I know DH loves the Yankees but I am seriously getting fed up!

Here is the kicker when I have e-mailed the Yankees to ask for a date that they would go on sale never have they responded with date!

Now with one week until freaking Christmad break I have to come up with a whole new DAMN idea!
