We have to start thinking of a "family" vehicle...suggestions

we have no preference for just a bigger car (like the Nissan Altima or Honda Civic) or an affordable SUV (like the CRV or Chevy Equinox)..

just need some feedback....oh and DH is tall...6' 3" so he needs head/leg room

I had a VW Passat which was great with just Emma. Plenty of room and a great big trunk for the stroller. Its also a safe family car. Now I have a Acura MDX because we need the extra space with 2 kids!

We just picked up our new Chevy Equinox 2 weeks ago. I love it!!! It is AWD, with front airbags and side impact curtain airbags. We actually waited 4 months for it since they weren't building them with the side impact airbags yet. They were an important feature for us since we hope to be starting a family soon. Good luck!!
