Problem!! I need some of your good suggestions!!!

We are getting married at East Wind Caterers, unfortunately, after spending an obscene amout of money there, they will not work with us, and help us with a breakfast for our guests.. They say we should pay $23 pp for a breakfast.. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! They are already paying $200+ for their room there.. anyway


I was thinking to rent out a small 'meeting' room, and having an outside caterer deliver some breakfast food, eggs, bagels, pastries, OJ, bacon, sausage.. but WHERE WOULD I GO?? Has anyone ever heard of this?? Or know anyone that has done it?? THANKS GIRLS.. I hope you can help

the local hotels have conference rooms, like the Hilton, Holiday Inn, any hotel in the area should have a conference room. What about someones' home and having it catered?

We thought about that, but we wanted them to be able to walk down from their hotel, and have breakfast... BUT I guess, with the lack of assistance from East Winds, we can't accomplish that

Crystal, unfortunately East Wind will not give a free breakfast...they only have the breakfast buffet on Sundays anyways. AS far as who to use for a caterer, I have no idea...

Maybe ask Bagel Buoy, they have a location in Hampton Bays now and they may be able to deliver stuff to East Wind for ya.....


We did not do anything for our guests, they were on their own and certainly did not expect us to buy them breakfast too.

I am not familiar with the location (the name yes, but not specifics), are the guests staying at the same locale the reception is at?

what about having a small breakfast bag delivered to their rooms? Maybe you have someone that can volunteer? It depends on how long they are staying....but I think that would be cute too
