CALLING ALL FOX HOLLOW & WESTBURY MANOR BRIDES

For all WM and FH Brides that will be married the next two months and or this past month...can you please share with us your experiences.

As you can see from below link, there has been a bit of a swap b/w the two catering halls...and I think all of us getting married there within the next few months would like to know how things went.

I am constantly feeling that I need to call to make sure all their ducks are in a row, b/c when you book a catering hall you book it based on past reputation....

Swap

Re: CALLING ALL FOX HOLLOW & WESTBURY MANOR BRIDES

This also affects Watermill brides as apparently the chef from the Watermill has left. This is insane if you read the Watermill thread the BM's there NEVER return phone calls.

Again, when one company get too much of a reputation they think they can rest on their laurels... not so. Now I'm pissed.

Re: CALLING ALL FOX HOLLOW & WESTBURY MANOR BRIDES

Wow, this is crazy. I'm sure this is causing a lot of stress for upcoming brides.

I got married at Fox Hollow before the switch and was overwhelmed by the service and the food quality at our reception.

I can't give anyone advice on who to ask for as a BM because I never really spoke to one. The only time I found it necessary to contact Fox Hollow was when I was in the final stages - menu planning etc.

This does not involve the Watermill at all, I have a family member who works there and nothing was changed there and the chef has not left he's still there.

Unfortunantely I have two many other things to worry about in my life. All plans are full steam ahead and whatever will be will be. I have full confidence in the Fox Hollow staff. Not all the employees left the Fox, many are still there that I have dealt with.

Re: CALLING ALL FOX HOLLOW & WESTBURY MANOR BRIDES

I have to agree. IMO this is not that big of a deal for me. Westbury Manor and Fox Hollow both have great reputations and are both Scotto owned. If they switch some staff I don't see that it really makes a different because they are both great. JMO

Exactly...and by the time my wedding comes around they could change 400 more times! I will cross that bridge when I get to it as well!

Good luck!
