I would like to do this. I do not know if I'll have money to do it, though

Re: is anyone renting a coach bus to transport guests from hotel to reception?

i think i am going with Alert Buses - they are part of Acme bus company i believe - i got the name from Nov2004bride

i am waiting for her review before i book them - but they gave me the best price

there is H&J but a lot of people had trouble with them - some of the new reviews are better

Classic has buses but they are expensive

Coachman had ok prices - but watch out they gave me a good price and then changed it when i went to sign a contract - they said somethings were not avaible but totally were

H and J and another I think H and M or M and J got horrible reviews from a couple of brides -- for minivans I think, not a car. Does your hotel have a preferred vendor?

Re: is anyone renting a coach bus to transport guests from hotel to reception?

We used Alert for a group to go to a game at West Point a few weeks go. Their service was very good. I have to get a price from them for the pick-up drop-off of guests yet. I've priced lots of other companies - Classic, David Bros., Somerset, Harran... and they are all between 750 and 1,000 for a coach for 40 guests.

Believe it or not we are probably going to use school buses, they are inexpensive and you set the time frames. My cousin did it about 3 years ago and she got 2 for about $350. S that's what we'll do.
