For those who are giving donations as wedding favors...

We would like to donate to a cancer fund. Do you know of an organization that will provide cards for our guests?

I have looked on the american cancer society website already.

American Cancer Society does scrolls. Check out Sloan-Kettering I think they may - Or you can make your own.....I am creating a MS type of card since we did a donation to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society. Julz33 did the first one and the second one is by Martha Stewart.

I went to a wedding last week where the couple donated to the Make a Wish foundation.

They ( the couple) gave scrolls and bookmarks.
THey also announced that b/c of the donation instead of favors there was a young boy named Danny- who will now be able to go to Disney for his wish.

I am sorry- my point is I am not sure if the charity provides you with the scrolls- but you made a great decision.

( WE all got teary when that was announced)

nov.bride...that's nice how the bride and groom were able to make a donation to a particular person.

We donated to the American Cancer society and just made little tags that we attached to some candy that we left for everyone.

I'm teary eyed just reading it! I'm totally going with the donation as favor idea!!! I just need to figure out how to go about it!
