Very cool! It would make it SO affordable, but I just don't want to give up my christmas theme. It's SO difficult. Feb prices are SO tempting!

Re: What day of the week are you getting married?
Saturdy night.I was willing to go for a Friday or Sunday to save $$$ but pircing for a sat night was only $5pp mre expensive than a friday night in Jan. For 200ppl that is only $1000 and in the grand scheme f this whole wedding not that much!
good luck!

Re: What day of the week are you getting married?
WE are doing ours Sunday Morning/afternoon.I was just looking at the irish and italian traditions. Turns out that the irish tradition says to not get married on a Sat. And the Italian tradition says Sunday is the best day. Also, both of them say May is bad, and the irish tradition favors April. This is so funny, because were origanally going to get married on a sat in May. But due to curcumstances we changed to April in a Sunday.
So we have done 2 things right for our ethnic traditions!!!!

Re: What day of the week are you getting married?
Sunday night.,I really wanted to do Sat. night but at Carlyle it was a a $40-pp difference.... NO WAY! We were going to do Friday night- it was $10- cheaper than Sunday night but we were worried about all of the traffic from the church to the Carlyle on a Friday afternoon in the summer.
Anyway- I am a teacher so a lot of my guests, who are teachers too, will at least have Monday off.... The reception will end at 11pm.
