Who is getting a separate limo for the Bride and Groom?

Who is getting a separate limo for the Bride and Groom?

Our ride is at least 45 minutes from the church to the reception.

We are debating...

1. Do we party with the BP in the big limo?
or 2. Do we get something for the 2 of us and be mushy the whole way there?

I was just in a wedding party where we were all in one limo this weekend, but I think I want a seperate one for me and FH cause I don't want to get drunk before we get to the CH and want to enjoy each moment together. The bridal party limo is very hectic. FUN, but lots of hectic.

That is completely up to you...We are going to be with the BP...We are getting either the Escalade or the Hummer....I figured we would have the night & our entire honeymoon to be all mushy & stuff...JMO

I have heard many couples say that the only time they got to spend together, just the two of them, is on the way from the ceremony to the reception.

Having said that, I am getting a separate car for the two of us.

On the other hand, being with the BP is generally a BLAST, esp in the limo, so either option is a great one, imo.

We got a 1929 Rolls for us and a big limo for BP

We are going to have our own from the church to where we take pics, then from there to the hall we will go with the BP.

I had a great time with the Bride and Groom, but I personally was very drunk by the time we got to the CH. The limo was crowded and drinks were being spilled everywhere...depends I guess. I'd rather wait to party at the reception and just spend some quality time with FH then.

I'm getting the antique rolls for us, a navigator limo for the bp and 1 for my parents and grandmother and 1 for my FH's mom

I had an 8 passenger limo to take the men to the church.

After that we had an Escalade from the church to the reception.

ETA: (since work was over and didn't realize so I quickly left)

Yes I had 2 limos. One Escalade which I used with the girls and then the boys joined us after the ceremony.

We got a rolls for ourselves, and a stretch hummer for the BP. Partying with BP is fun, but I think that is the only 'alone' time we'll have all day. We want to enjoy it!!!

we each have our own limo going to the ceremony- one is bigger then the other b/c after the ceremony the entire bridal party will be in one and the other will be for parents and grandparents.

THis seems really a matter of your personal preference.
Are you more likely to want some quiet, snuggly time to reflect OR
are you more likely to be glad to have even more of a party?

Same here...I didn't realize how expensive they were. I really would prefer a limo for just us, if we can swing it.

We're all going to be in the same limo after the church. I want to be with all of my friends so we rented the truck limo which fits 18 people (we only have 14 though)

But he will take a sep. limo to the church.

I was thinking the same thing! Plus, we want to ride in the cool limo too!!
