Why Bad Things Happen to Good People
The Love Poems of Pablo Neruda
and
anything by Rainer Maria Rilke

To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite book of all time. That is followed by Crime and Punishment, Anna Karenina, The Wasp Factory, and anything by Stephen King. (I am so sad he retired.)

I love that book as well! I actually read it for the first time last year, but it brought back so many memories, good and bad, of being '11 going on 12'

Re: QOTA-What is your favorite book?
My old time favorite is Pride & Prejudice (that's why my kitty's called Mr. Darcy
). I have recently read a few books by Minette Walters, an English crime writer, which were excellent. I also just read 'the 5 people you meet in heaven' a nice, simple read. Basically, I read everything from the Bible to the back of a Cornflakes packet!

Re: QOTA-What is your favorite book?
Favorite classic- The Great Gatsby- F.Scott FitzgeraldFavorite current- anything by Jodi Picolut or books about families, psychological stuff, etc. I read the most chilling book this summer about a boy who kills his fellow students at a high school and the tourtured relationship he had with his mom. It really made me think about having children! I wish I could remember its name.
