I'm curious about the pictures you take for your e-photo's v. wedding!

I'm curious about the pictures you take for your e-photo's as opposed to the pictures before the wedding! I've seen that many on this board have pic's w/ their FI on the beach, park, etc...Now here come the moronic question...Were these photo's your engagement photo's or just photo's that you took prior to your wedding which was included in your package.

I took my enagement pics before the wedding I wish I could post mine's but scanning is not working. My photographer inculded mine's in the package.

we took them as just pics before hand - my photographer calls them engagement pics but since we didnt have an engagement party we are just calling them announcement pics - cause we sent them out with our save the dates
they were included free with the booking

I would really like to go to the beach or park, but I think all that at this point is unnecessary. What do you think? Basic studio pic's are o.k?I'm getting married sometime in 2007. So, it's possible that I can do all that later on. Most of these photographers actually include this, correct?

So is it fair to say that most of these pic's of couples on the beach, park, etc. are really just something they did before the wedding because it's included in the package? I was under the impression that these are the way e-photo's are taken. But it seems like it's just w/ the package and the photogher calls them 'engagement photo's'. Who did you use for pic's?

Both, they were my e-pics and they were included in my package.

That's good news for me...I really want to go take pic's on the beach or park. They look soooooo romantic. So I'll wait till it's closer to the wedding.

I am taking my engagement photos next Wednesday. IT is part of the package we created with our wedding photographer.

most of the photogs do include them in your package which is nice because you get to know your photog a little bit before the wedding.

I think they are called engagement pics because they are taken while you are engaged! My photographer did it a few months before the wedding while the weather was nice. It's really just a casual shoot.
